FLAGS for Faculty and Staff

This section introduces faculty and staff members to Indiana University's FLAGS Initiative (Fostering Learning, Achievement, and Graduation Success). A key component of this system is a course-based, early feedback tool that allows faculty to communicate with students about how they are doing in a class and make recommendations to improve or deepen their learning. Here, faculty and staff members will learn how the system works, the types of feedback it provides, and how the feedback can translate into better outcomes for our students.

Student Engagement Roster (SER) Works for Any Class Size

In this video, Dr. Kathy Marrs, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Biology at IUPUI, explains why she uses the Student Engagement Roster (SER) to help students stay on track and be successful in the large, multi-component class of BIO-K101.
